The Kual blue cheese mold shapes a tall wheel weighing up to 2.5 kg and is suitable for two types of soft cheeses. On the one hand, blue cheeses (голубые сыры), which are made in tall wheels. On the other hand, there are creamy soft cheeses with high moisture content: Argentine cremoso (buttery or fresh), cuartirolo, Port Salut, and Saint-Paulin (Порт-Салю). Its perforated walls allow for even draining by gravity, without pressing, which preserves the fine curd and maintains the creamy texture; filling and unmolding are quick and clean.
